Abner Cotto to headline February 18 Event – Boxing news
The first event of the series ‘Boxeo Boricua in Caguas: Next Level’ by H2 Entertainment and Miguel Cotto Promotions will be headlined by Abner ‘Pin’ Cotto’s title 10-round defence against Guillermo Sanchez.
Abner Cotto, cousin of Miguel Cotto, is currently the WBC FECARBOX Lightweight champion and is undefeated to date. The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, February 18 at the Roger Mendoza Coliseum in Caguas, Puerto Rico. Also in the event will
be an 8-round bout between the WBC FECARBOX Super Fly weight champion Miguel ‘El Loco’ Robles and Juan Angel Cota of Mexico. The event will be televised on Telefura.
For Abner, who comes with a bloodline of some highly successful boxers, this is the ultimate opportunity to engrave his name in the boxing world. As of now, he has an undefeated streak of 12 wins and 0 losses and he should retain it to gain maximum exposure

Abner Cotto has earned several international championships and medals for his country, among which the most honourable one was winning a silver medal at the 2007 Pan American Games.
Abner Cotto started his professional career while working for Miguel Cotto’s promotional agency called Promociones Miguel Cotto. He fought his first bout in Caguas, Puerto Rico, against Edwin Gomez.
Cotto struck the spectators by knocking out his opponent in just 26 seconds. Later on, Abner went on to defeat Nelson Agosto in the following month. He was able to defeat Nelson in the first round with a knockout. In 2010, on September 25, Abner Cotto brutally
defeated Enrique “k**e” Quinonez by a decision in rounds.
As of now, Abner has 5 knockout victories in his portfolio along with 12 wins and 0 losses. He is currently being considered among the most talented young fighters. If he is able to defend his title in the upcoming event, he will be elevated to the next
