  1. YOU should not feed them anything!  That will make them dependent on you.  Call the department of wildlife, or the humane society.  they will know the right people, if they aren't the right ones.

I hate to break this to you (and there IS a happy ending) but o of my neighbors has some foxes living in the back yard, and one broke his leg, and I called.  They said there was nothing they WOULD do for the poor guy, BUT:  and here's the happy ending...it's been about two weeks, and he's still there, and he's crippled, but so far, he's getting around okay!  We are hopeful, even though they woudln't do anything.

  2. My assumption is that they aren't abandoned at all, but are just on their own.  Parents will force their young out of the nest to teach them how to forage for food and how to fly.  Just leave them where they are; please dont' take them inside or do anything foolish, like trying to toss them up in the air to get them to fly (yes, it has happened before).  If you are still worried, move them to a sheltered spot, such as under a bush or in the woods where the parents can find them.

I can promise you that they are fine; alot of times people will take in birds, thinking that they are helping them, but are really causing more injury than harm.  Please leave them where they are; even if you see a cat, the parents will take care of the problem (robins are known for attacking golden eagles; surely they can take on cats as well!).

Rest assured, they are fine.  If you are still worried, keep an eye on them.  But leave the area, because the parents won't want to return if there are humans in the area.

  3. Call an afterhours vet clinic and they can page a doctor if he is hurt.  Otherwise, try to feed him birdseed, but if he will not eat that, get an eyedropper and feed him small bits of scrambled eggs in water.

  4. the best thing to do is take it to the local pet smart or petco.if you can't find one locally, take it to a animal clinic and BE SURE NOT TO TOUCH IT.if the mom would happen to come back it would not take care of it.I'd recommend using gloves and feed it a mixture of worms, bird seed and water.if this doesn't work than I'm sorry.it will most likely lose it's life then.

if the clinic could help you should ask if it is worthy of surviving .if they say yes tell them to take it to a NO KILL shelter to take care of it.hope this helps.

  5. I hope this helps but it might be the wrong one...
