I'm for the choice to have a abortion. i don't want people to have one but its none of my business what they do with there bodies

I got pregnant 2 years ago.  I considered abortion and made an appointment with a clinic.  I chickened out and then tried to go back a week later.  I watched a video, signed forms and waited until they were ready.  I thought about the poor helpless baby that I was about to kill for my own selfish reasons.  I left and faced reality.  Now I have a beautiful 16 month son, Tony Rocco who is the love of my life.  I haven't regretted a second and he was a truly a blessing.  Children are gifts from God.  The very thought of how close I came to extinguishing his life makes me ill.  I will never consider abortion again!!!!

I know of no one who is pro-abortion; however, many of us are pro-choice.

The decision to have a baby is a tough one, the question is really who do you trust with a decision about your life: yourself or the government.

As a true Republican (I place my faith in the people) I support your right to decide what is right for you, even if I would do something different.

The last groups I want deciding how I should live my life include religious groups that I am not a part of, the government, the police, the political parties, the courts and anyone in general that does not place my interests above their philosophy.

I am against abortion - and guess what? I had two, when I was 22, 23.  How stupid I was.  My boyfriend was a violent, horrible person who stalked me and created no end of pain.  My excuse was I was "saving" the baby from a bad father.

I was wrong then, those babies shouldn't have paid for my stupidity.  It haunts me to this day.  Now I have three children, they are awesome teenagers, sometimes I wonder who those other children would have been.

It's easy at the time, ya think "thank god, it's over".  Now, I can never forget.

I should add - I am VERY PRO birth control, that's a much better option than abortion.

I'm personally against it.  but I also don't believe its my right to choose whether or not its right or not for others.

How would you like for me to choose for you what you can do with your body, and what sort of religion to have.

I don't believe that as soon as the sperm hits the egg, that its a baby.  There is a grey area in my mind.

I'm against the idea of it after the first trimester.  I'm against government funding of abortion.
