Question Why Is Abortion so wrong in your opinion? and have you had one yourself? Thank you in advance for being honest with your answer.

I think that if you are "adult" enough to have s*x, you should be "adult" enough to handle the consequences.  I still haven't made up my mind about rape victims, but if it were me I would have the baby.

I personally have never had one and don't believe in it because it's mostly used as a form of birth control for irresponsible people.  I guess it would be one thing if having a baby would threaten the mother's life, but if she is having one just because she couldn't keep her legs closed or didn't want to protect herself, then that's another.  I don't believe that abortion should be used as birth control.

I know its not the right thing to do, but I will not label it wrong.  I have had one and it was me being careless.  Now I have two girls and I don't regret the decision I made.  You have the righ to chose the best thing for you to do to live your life.

I think its wrong because you are killing babies,a helpless little Innocent baby.

and people do it cuz they don't want the baby or they are not ready for to have a baby,yet they are out there having s*x and keep getting pregnant.and its not fair to the baby,there are so many people out there that cant have kids and would die to have a baby and careless heartless girls are out getting abortions.

It's not up to us to decide on a little life's fate.

The little one always deserves a chance, regardless of when he/she was conceived, regardless of how he/she was conceived.  

s*x should be between two people who are mature and responsible adults who are committed to one another, and who will happily accept a pregnancy should it occur.

If you REALLY don't want a child then you should be taking every step necessary to PREVENT pregnancy.  

In my opinion once a woman is pregnant she should deal with her child instead of deleting him/her.  The ole adage "you made your bed, now lie in it" is very applicable here.

There are too many infertile couples in the world who would LOVE the chance to adopt an infant and who would raise the child as their own.  If you get pregnant and you don't want it, do the right thing by yourself, your child and "would be" parents.  Carry the child and then give it away...That very well be the most noble thing a parent could do for their child.

Anything less is selfish and genocidal at best.

I am a christian, so yes I believe it is wrong. I have not and will not ever have an abortion no matter what the circumstances. I believe God has a purpose for a pregnancy even if it is unwanted or the product of rape and it is His decision alone if the pregnancy should continue. I think it's wrong, tell me once you have heard a fetus' heartbeat that isn't a person. I always try to live by the golden Rule: do unto others as you would have done to you.

As for women's right to choose they have that right, take birth control or don't have s*x if you don't want to get pregnant. That is her choice.

The thing that really bugs me about the women's right to chose is: she can go to an abortion clinic without the man even knowing and get an abortion, but a man can't make a woman have an abortion or say he doesn't want to have the baby or any part of the baby, Where is the man's right to chose?

I belive it's wrong, very wrong.  Never had one, never would. I  can't belive women are killing babies for their own comfort.  Most of them think it's a bunch of cells when a baby has a heartbeat.  Another think i belive is when these heartless women have abortions the doctors should give them the baby to dispose, maybe then they would realize what they did when they see their own flesh and blood ripped apart to pieces and dead.

It's a personal choice for me. I won't judge others who get abortions, but those who are ignorant and use it as a form of birth control, I do. I would never get an abortion, ever. I could never live with that decision. The guilt would be so overwhelming for me. The only way I "support" abortion is if the female who that is pregnant is physically not able to give birth to the child. I beleive that everything happens for a reason and that it is not good to tamper with fate. If a woman/teen/what have you, becomes pregnant I feel like it's a gift to be given or a lesson to be learned. I know ppl who have had so many abortions.

I don't think abortion is wrong. At all, ever. To feel more emotion and sympathy for something that doesn't even know it exists, let alone know YOU exist, is ridiculous. I will always feel 100% for the woman. Also, it's not fair that basically everyone who is against abortion is SEXIST. So if a 12 year old girl can lay down in bed while her step father rapes her, she can therefore handle a pregnancy and raising a child?? Also, what about people who do not understand the consequences of s*x? With all this abstinence only education it's no surprise when a girl turns up pregnant because she was told she couldn't get pregnant the first time she had s*x. And what about those mentally handicapped? If an autistic teen had s*x (gets raped more likely), does that make her competent to deal with a pregnancy? It's really selfish when people say 'what if your mother had aborted YOU' because you sound like a real a*****e. You care more about yourself then your mother? What if your mom and your dad never met? What if you died when you were an infant? There are more important things to think about then abortion. What about people who have other medical conditions? I have fibromyalgia as well as a number of other problems. If I were to be raped or choose to someday have s*x, and even though I did whatever I could to not become pregnant but still did, I should be forced to go threw with it by a bunch of random people who don't even understand my condition? s*x =/= Consent to give birth. Furthermore, you are all too judgmental towards women and need to grow up. An abortion isn't bothering you in any way, and the only person who it's going to 'hurt' is the mother because it's surgery duh. The fetus IS a lump of cells. Just because if COULD turn into a baby one day doesn't mean we can automatically ignore the needs of the women. And some women can not financially support a child. Just because you tell her to put it up for adoption doesn't make much sense all the time either because for someone who doesn't have health insurance how would you like them to pay for all this? Just giving birth isn't cheap. Just because there are childless couples out there doesn't give you the right to enslave women to turn them into baby making machines. Those childless couples can go adopt one of the many MILLIONS of children already in the foster care and adoption system. For every baby that you put up for adoption instead of having an abortion is just one less home for an already living and breathing child sitting there waiting for a family.

So in conclusion.

Shut up, mind your own business and life goes on. Don't like abortion? Don't have one. Don't take away the right of other women to make this personal decision themselves.

For the record, I am a vegetarian and personally feel that if you want to sit there and call yourself 'pro-life' and argue abortion is murder, then you are a hypocrite if you eat meat/hunt/wear leather or fur.

I am not a religious guy, so I won't throw a lot of theology at you.  I do believe, however that among all the creatures of the earth, humans are most special.

I believe that the soul is eternal.  If I believe in eternity, I must believe it goes both ways and and not just start with my conception.

I believe that at the exact moment of conception..when the sperm meets the egg for the first time that a human being is created....not just a blob of cells and that if we about that new human, we have made the world less.

Choose your number, I have heard 3,000 to 4,000.  That is the number of abortions performed daily in America....Now isnt it silly for someone to scoot to malasya, or china, or korea or who knows where to adopt one of theirs when we kill so many of ours every day

I think it's wrong, I haven't always thought this way until I was pregnant, and saw the sonagrams and saw that it was an actual baby before birth. I only really get disgusted when people use abortion as birth control, or after they themselves have had a child, at that point how do you not see it's wrong?

Kathryn- the man get zero blame because he does not get a say  in whether HIS child is aborted. It's unfair for the father, not the mother killing her child.  If she has to hear the word w***e a few times while doing it, maybe it'll make the next abortion she wants that much harder to do.

I think a woman has the right to choose. I get frustrated when someone has multiple abortions due to carelessness and not using contraception/protection because it is not fair to the unborn babies.
