  1. Looks like someone used your card without your knowledge.  Unless you figure it out and resolve, you are liable./

  2. Report to the police first.

And let the police help you with your situation.

because you never used it after.

  3. In the UK the laws states that if there is no contact between creditor and debtor regarding the debt (this is called 'debt acknowledgement') for a period of 6 consecutive years then the debt can NOT be chased, so even if you didn't pay it off you don't have to now. Ring up Consumer Credit Counselling Service, they are a free debt advice charity and know exactly what they're talking about. Do this first and whatever you do do not contact the recovery company; they will lie to you and make you think you have to pay it. C.C.C.S. will fill you in on the details I've missed out, here's the number: 0800 138 1111.

  4. after 7 years of not usin it they cant do anything.

im in ur boat now-they cant find my acc number or my card number

  5. You need to file a fraud alert on your credit file and possibly file a police report.  Then you would need to communicate with the company that is sending you the debt letters and inform them it is fraud and u have paid your previous balance. Make sure u have receipts for your previous payments and the police report if asked for one.

  6. If the company has the paperwork as proof that 2000 was spent

and unpaid back theres not much you can do they won,t leave you alone ontil you pay it  our they will come to your house and take your stuff to the value of the amount.
