About 6 years ago I saw a short documentry on American Indians racing their ponies down a very steep mountain.

Ive tried to find video of this event on utube to no avail. Anyone know the name of this event?

I think it's the Oomiak (not sure about that part) Suicide race.  Search youtube under suicide race, and put horse too, and it should pop up.  There's several anti-cruetly videos of the race.  Yes, it's still held, at least as of last year.

Yep it still is on But they can not say much about it because of all the animal rights people are after them
