  1. AIEEE means  All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE)

    The All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) is organized by the CBSE in India for admission to various under-graduate courses in engineering and architecture. Admission to the prestigious National Institutes of Technology is through this test.

    Students opting for B.Tech or B.E. are tested in physics, mathematics and chemistry. The test duration is 3 hours. The maximum marks was 360, with equal weightage of 120 for each of the three subjects in 2007 (While Maximum marks was 540 in 2006). Students opting for B.Arch are tested in mathematics and an aptitude test. It is usually held at the end of April and results are announced at the end of May. Candidates are ranked on an all India basis and also according to their state. Thus, they have an All India Rank (AIR) and a state rank.

    u can appear for the AIEEE exam,

    the eligibility criteria for AIEEE is :

    1. your age should not be less than 17 yrs.

    2. you should eiher be 12th passed or appearing for the 12th in year 2008.

    3.if you have cleared 12th, then in PCM you should have minimum 50 % marks for open category and 45 % for others.
