  1. MEAT MEAT & MORE MEAT

DONT MATTER WHAT IT IS AS LONG AS IT TAST GOOD

& i like a nice garden salad to go with it

or if i'm to lazy to cook pizza & beer

  2. We cook the whole year round.I can tell you it's so hot at this moment, we are cooking.

Seriously we are such a diverse population we have fantastic cuisine.Chinese,italian,indian,indonesia... and many more. Not to memtion all the junk food outlets.Of course we have lots of salads at this time of year.Usually cramed with sea food.Lobster, shrimps, prawns, oyesters and the like

  3. For real Aussie cuisine try Kangaroo, it is delicious, so is Emu. There some great recipes on the ABC site www.abc.net.au and search there for kangaroo and emu recipes. Other fair dinkum Aussie dishes are seafood like bass, flounder, prawns (shrimp). I dont think macadamias are in season yet but mangos certainly are. There are hundreds of aussie native fruits and seeds you can try, like wattle seed.  Look at this website http://www.bushfood.net/ for aussie native foods and medicines, but be aware that we can grow everything from every other continent in the world in australia the climate is so diverse from tropical jungle in the north to snow alps in the south.

As a cattle farmer, I can reccomend Aussie beef too, must of us love it, a nice soft juicy steak. We take care of our cattle with proper medicine, they are not genetically modified, and we never feed them meat like in Europe, they are grain and grass fed. Angus cattle have soft textured meat with intra muscular fat (marbling) that makes a superb steak, that even the fussy Japanese market prefers.

  4. Meat - sausages, steak, bacon, lamb, pork, beef, veal etc

Salad - tomatoes, lettuce, cucumber, beetroot, celery etc

Vegetables - carrots, peas, corn, potatoes, beans etc

Seafood - fish, oysters, lobster, crab, mussels, prawns etc

Dairy - cheese, yoghurt, milk, cream, ice cream, margarine etc

Fruit - Apples, bananas, oranges, mandarins, lemons etc

A standard 'Aussie' dinner consists of 'meat and three veg'.
