What does it do if i go to start - run - cmd - (and type in there) net user administrator ?

I just have forgotten!!

  1. You can change your password or username and I would not type administrator because thats the Main account you may need to get in one day. Type your own username in or a guest's username. You can find out more info at www.youtube.com  Just type in fun with cmd

    You can replace Administrator with other user names.

  5. Gives you info about the administrator if I remember correctly.  (Sorry, I'm on 98SE at the moment - lol!)

    But as to being able to change the password that way as people are saying, I don't think you can unless you are in an administrator account, in which case, there's better ways.  I tried my hardest to get that to work when we accidentally got locked out of a 2000 machine.  (Software fault.)  In the end I found another method that worked but I found a few sites that said doing it with net user administrator doesn't work on 2000 or XP.
