how does necleotide sequence in one chain of DNA compare with the other chain of DNA?

  1. It is complementary. So, if for instance you have one strand of DNA with the nucleotide sequence: CGA TCA AGG, then its complement would be: GCT AGT TCC


  2. Well, if you refer to make a DNA sequence comparation, you must have to use bioinformatic resources like the BLAST program. This program compare every nucleotid of each DNA sequence to the other and can tell you how and where they differ.
