Are there shelves where you put your things before a ride and pick them up once the ride is over? not lockers but shelves in every ride.

Which coasters do you recommend? we are 2 adults no children.

Any tips ??

thanks you

  1. Yes, there are cubbies at the rides.  I would recommend the orange coaster to the right of the park (darn, I can't remember the name of it!!!!).  It is the best coaster in the park.  There are others, but I didn't think that they were as good as the orange one.  I hope you have a fun time!

  2. Yes, there are bins/shelves/lockers at each major ride that has high speeds and heights. After the ride is finished you just pick up your stuff on your way towards the exit. I don't recommend leaving valuables such as cell phones though, as the shelves don't lock.

As for recommended rides for your group I suggest pretty much everything at the park. They have 6 major roller coasters and plenty of thrill rides. The coasters range in size and speed with the tallest and fastest being Steel Force at 205 feet and 75 mph. It's nothing too scary it's just big hills and drops. The next tallest is new this year, Voodoo. It's basically a giant "U". You sit in a seat and you hear "Voodoo will possess you in 3, 2, 1" and then you're launched forward into the "U" and then fall backwards into the back part and you do this about 3 times. Next comes Talon, 135 feet and 60 mph. You're suspended under the track and your feet dangle. There is loops in this ride. After that comes Hydra, 95 feet tall and 55 mph. Your feet dangle but you're above the track. There is no floor to the cars. After comes Laser, a small 70 foot 50 mph looper. There is only 2 loops and the ride is really short. And finally comes Thunderhawk. It's a wooden coaster that's 65 feet tall and 50 mph. No loops and a little rough but still fun. Thrill rides include Dominator, Meteor, White Water Landing, and Revolution, as well as tons more. They also have a free waterpark!

I suggest wearing sneakers, not flip flops or sandals and heading towards the back of the park (Steel Force) first, as it gets crowded towards the middle of the day. The park never really has any lines and food can get pricey. I suggest bringing lunch and heading out to the parking lot to eat and then going back in.

Check out the site for details on all the rides as well as videos for each coaster. Have fun!
