Hello, I live in Florida and I am just trying to figure out a hypothetical paycheck. I make $10 an hour, and on Sundays, $16 an hour. I worked 20 hours this week, so that would be roughly $230, so what would be my final paycheck amount?

  1. I used to live in Florida and when it cam to mine and my husbands paychecks I always took the total amount before taxes and subtracted 17%.  This was usually pretty accurate (on a weekly paycheck).

This would mean that your check will be roughly $190.00.

  2. Using the calculators at http://www.paycheckcity.com , here's what your paycheck will look like, assuming that you claim 1 withholding allowance:

    Weekly Gross Pay:  $230.00

    Federal Withholding:  $11.00

    Social Security:  $14.26

    Medicare:  $3.34

Florida:  $0.00 (No income tax in FL)

    Net Pay:  $201.40

  3. ABOUT $180.00
