This site is supposed to be an online business great for stay-at-home moms. Supposedly, you just have to write articles to get paid each week. Has anyone tried this program? You have to buy it to use it and I dont want to do anything without knowing how it REALLY is. Thanks!

  1. I've heard of people doing this, I don't know what the pay is like if it's nothing, or what the detailed outline of this is.  So I can't say what it really is ow anything like that.

However, what the other poster wrote as far as paying into things.  If it's just a job, then okay I agree.  But if it's a home based business that your collaborating with another business, then I disagree.  Any business you open, run or whatever, either solely or in partnership or as an Indepdendent Representative, there would be start up cost, and with some businesses fees involved.

anyhow, about FreelanceHomeWriters.  If you really want to get to the root of this, I suggest you take a look at this article it will help you answer your questions on this business.

It addresses a lot of issues.  Read the entire thing, and you should know by the end of the article if it is real, or where you need to go for additional information on finding out if it's real or not.

    Good Luck to you!

  2. Never, NEVER NEVER trust a "get-rich quick" type of scheme that requires you to fork over money before you make any money.  These sorts of sites are scams that target women who are already under financial strain and who are desperate to find a way to make ends meet.

Also, you have to remember that people are educated and trained to do this sort of work.  Your average Joe (or Jane) is not going to be able to produce the sort of quality, researched articles that are typically required for ... anything.  Article writing is a career, like anything else.  It requires training, heaps of effort and it doesn't hurt to have a natural knack for it either.  Even highly qualified and talented writers often struggle as freelance - and certainly they do not make the sort of money that this website suggests that you might be able to make.

You have to think about it logically - are companies really going to pay money to unqualified writers for their work?  Especially that sort of money?  I don't think so.  Companies generally have writers of their own.  Also, think of how many people will be seduced into signing up for this *wow* deal - what if every one of them wanted to write an article for every single "job posting"?  Do you think they will all get paid?  Nope.  In fact, it's pretty ridiculously suspicious right off the bat that you can't even SEE what job postings they have until you pay for a membership.

Basically, what this site will do is take your money when you sign up and then reject everything you attempt to write as being sub-par.  You'll be kissing that money good-bye in the same breath that you are cursing FreeLanceHomeWriters.  They have no intention of paying you for anything.  Someone will get rich quick here, but it won't be you.

Protect yourself online.  Freelance Contract Employers pay *you*.  You DO NOT pay them.  If you are serious about writing as a career, there are legit routes that you can pursue.  If you are just looking for quick cash, keep your own money in your pocket and consider a part-time job.
