  1. Japan is very hard for ex-pats. I would avoid it all together becuase you will not get any job without knowledge of the language. You are better off in North America where they are accepting of foreigners.

  2. I live in Japan in a semi-rural area.  Life's great and although my Japanese was 0 when I got off the plane, I managed to learn enough to get by pretty well after only a few weeks.  I'd recommend studying quite a bit of the basics before arrival but don't worry too much.

My job though is as an English teacher (which is really easy to apply for - I had a business school degree and no teaching experience.) My plan is to teach for about 2 years total and then try to work in Japanese as an accountant.  You basically need to be fluent-ish before you can get a real job related to your degree here.

  3. it is hard to settle in non english country. bcoz u hav eto learn their language. noone cant speak english in japan. so how will u buy things. ppl will cheat wth u there. here in us spanish is second language. in many area ppl speak it.thy dont know english. so it is hard to live in tht area. i think u can understand my mean..so try for an english country.gud luk!!

  4. Dear Vinnu,

You have chosen the best option to learn Japanese. As you may be aware that knowledge of Japanese is must for getting an entry in Japanese industries. You should at least need a Japanese language Proficiency Test (JLPT) Level 3. As you know that Japan is the second largest economy in the world, India is having only 3% market share in IT. The reason is language barrier. To overcome this language barrier Indian government is giving 50% reimbursement in tuition fee for those who complete JLPT Level 3 or Level 4.

For learning Japanese in India there are lot of Japanese language Schools like S&N Hayakawa Enterprises in Chennai. There you can get information about learning Japanese, Japanese culture, Study/ work in Japan etc. http://hayakawa.in/sn/japanese.php
