How to improve English?

I don't think you should start with reading book or novel.

My personnel experience-----Read News paper loudly and slowly  for at least 1 hour daily.

Look for words in dictionary, Those are out of your knowledge.

Check pronunciations, i know this suggestion is bit lengthy but what I am telling you for life long...you will see the difference in 3 months.

For grammar...check JPH english book and wren martin after

the 3 golden rules to language - read it, speak it, listen to it. so read atleast a book a week. it can be a romance or even archie comics, but read! dont be afraid to speak english. if u make a mistake, someone will correct you. and you will learn. watch a lot of english movies and TV programmes. it will help you get used to the different accents, and also help you learn contemporary lingo.

take interest in reading, listen very carefully,, listen to the pronounces.....and may be watch cartoon or new channel because these channals r good for beginner for learning English.....and my b take classes
