  1. did you try paying your bill? think how p**s OFF your isp is!

  2. Okay.  First lets get into the way ADSL connects.  Normally, without a router, you connect to ADSL lines like you would with an old fashioned dial up modem connection.  It dials a special number and you have to enter a user ID and password.  Now with a router.  The router is set up to do this, instead of the computer.  At least it should if it is set up correctly.

The correct setup should be all computers connecting with either a wireless adapter or Ethernet cable to the router.  Then the router connects to the adsl modem.

It sounds almost as if you have one machine hooked up to the modem and also to the router.

That connected at 100BT indication just means that a physical connection exists between the computer and the router or modem.  It does not mean that the actual internet connection is functional.  If you cannot connect to web sites, then it probably isn't functional.

You probably want to shut everything down.  Connect all computers to the router, then the router to the modem.  You will need to set up the router to connect to the modem using PPoE for the connection type.  The router's manual should have instructions on how to do this.  Honestly, I got sick and tired of the unreliable nature of ADSL and finally decided to spend the extra $6 a month for an 12MBps connection over cable.  With cable you don't need to have the router log on.  It just needs an Ethernet TCP/IP connection to the cable modem and it's a lot more reliable.

If your network is set up properly and it still is having a connection issue, you will probably need to have the telco (Telephone Company) check the line for problems.  Mind you, this can be like pulling teeth.  I found one constant in the universe that says that Telcos do not like to admit they have issues with their overpriced and unreliable connections.
