About NY State Registration?

I receieved my Car Registration in the mail. It don't start till the 26th of this month. How soon can I replace my old one with it ?

You probably could do it now. The police write tickets for expired plates or stickers, not for changing them too early.

You can put it on the windshield right away.  Once it's been renewed, the registration information at the DMV is immediately updated.  So, if your registration expires on June 26, 2010, the computer system at the DMV (and the police as well) shows that you are current through that day.
