About PAYPAL REFUNDS- can I be scammed if they refund the money?

Just wondering , I am about to sell an item to a buyer... He will have to deposit the money to my paypal account first , then I will give him the info to the item he is interested in , can he scam me if he refunds the money after I give him the information?

Any tips? thanks.

  1. You can always be scammed.  Look at the buyers feedback and see how much they've purchased and how they're rated.  I've heard that some buyers get something, claim the box was empty, and get a refund from PayPal.  Certainly give PayPal time to know the payment is good.  It can take a few days.  Contact PayPal and ask them how long it would take to know the payment is good.
