About Prenatal pills???

Question

I am taking prenatal pills and its been about 4 months now and I am TTC and I heard that it helps a little.....I was wondering if I should increase my intake from one pill to two pills???? any suggestions?? Please...

I don't think it actually helps conceive.  It just helps you get on the right path to taking a pill everyday!  The folic acid also helps reduce miscarriage once you are pregnant.  So, the sooner you start taking the better chances of a healthier pregnancy!

The prenatal vitamin will not increase your chances of getting pregnant....they simply give you the vitamins that you need when you do get pregnant. So many pregnancies are unplanned and many women aren't getting those crucial vitamins in the early, most important stage of pregnancy. This is why they tell you to take them while you are trying to concieve. Do not take more than the recommended dosage. It isn't neccessary.

if the bottle/package says take one a day then ONLY take one, if it says take two a then take two

do not go over the recomended dosage as it can do harm.

No either take folic acid or prenatal pills, as the prenatal pills should contain folic acid already. read the box or the package and it should list what viatmins are in the pill.

No your prenatal contains the right amount of folic acid. Increasing it can cause birth defects. Take baby aspirin that will help. It increase the lining of your uterus. Good Luck

I wouldn't as some of the individual vitamins in the prenatal are not water soluble which means it is possible to take too much. Stick with what your doctor prescribed.

No, only take the suggested dose.  You could poison yourself.

No!!!! to much of a good thing is bad for you. Talk to your doctor before taking anything when pregnant! You dont want to hurt your baby. Remember its eats everything you eat.
