When is the last time they made Subaru's without AWD?  I know in the late 80's the had a FWD one but just wondered if all of them since then have been AWD.

  1. Pretty much since the late 80's they all came w/ AWD. I remember the Justy. I wanted one really bad, but I couldn't afford it. I thought it was a cute car.

  2. they made them until at least the mid 90's.  they used to make a car called the loyale which was FWD... decent car too.

  3. They made the Vivio in FWD until 1995.

  4. They made FWD cars until 1995. All 1996 and later models are AWD.

I believe most of them were the Legacy sedans.

  5. They probably still make some.  Subaru found that most of its US sales were of AWD vehicles so in 1997 decided to limit its US offerings to all wheel drive models.  Sales of the FWD models were negligible anyway.

  6. they had FWD in the imprezza all the way up until the bug eye ones came in. The USA may not of seen to many FWD if they only exporting the higher spec ones to the usa
