About Tongue Rings!?

Well i got my tongue pierced in april, i got it because i didn't want anything on my face so i figured it was a good idea. well i honestly love it but I'm scared it will change peoples opinions about me, especially boys! i don't want them to think of me as a s**t or a head hoe! because I'm not at all! my friends and family tell me you cant see it when i talk so thats good, but will this get in the way of me findin someone?

If you having a tongue ring gets in the way of someone liking you, they are not the right person for you.  Get it and be proud of it... after all, you know the reason that you got it was because you wanted it... and that doesn't make you a s**t.

honestly the first i thing i think of when a girl has a tongue ring is       (a hot girl) i wonder if she sucks d**k? but really its not gonna make guys avoid you, maybe actually bring more to you, but we wont label a you a hoe until it is confirmed, so if your not a hoe then once they get to know you they will relize that you werent one after all, i guess i saying guys will be opened minded about it, they wont assume your a hoe right away.

I wanted my tongue pierced since I was 13.  I didn't know the meaning behind it, I just thought that it looked really neat.  Kind of like a permanent  skittle....lol.  When I turned 19 I went and had it pierced.  The only people who ever gave me c**p about it was older people when I was serving tables.  Really they would just joke about it more than anything.  When people are sitting under you they can see it more easily.  I have NEVER been called a s**t and no one seems to really treat me any differently than before.  If you worry about it too much you can buy a clear or pink tongue ring and people will notice it even less.  Mine is lime green and I love it! I don't care if anyone sees it because it's silly to let someone judge you over a stereotype.  I just let my personality do the talking and keep the tongue ring as an accent piece...lol. :)
