  1. I am from Vancouver, they have so many high rise buildings because they are prepared for earthquakes and the buildings are built for emergencies they know that EQ are frequent that is why all the buildings are built based on "earthquake" resistant tactics. There are a TON of asian people living in Vancouver, and i don't know if they make the city very expensive. Vancouver is just BEAUTIFUL in the summer and fall but winters and springs, its mostly cloudy and rainy. But you have to take into consideration that when Vancouver is sunny and warm, you will never feel anything like that ANYWHERE, trust me, i've been places. There is no place like Vancouver. I've been to Seattle in the summer time but the air was very polluted and thick...i'd say that vancouver is very very  very good city to live in.

  2. Earthquakes can happen (it is along the ocean).

It's a big city...big cities need high buildings...it's just the way it is.

Lots and lots and lots of Asians in Vancouver.

The city is expensive in general because of the size and the fact that people want to live there.

Seattle and Vancouver are barely 45 minutes away from eachother, so the weather can be the same, yet it can be different.  Depends on warm/cold fronts, and what the wind direction is.

    WHEW

    :D

  3. right, everything is the fault of immigrants and asians and nonwhites. and white people are perfect, if everybody on earth was white then the human race would be perfect and pure and nobody would have any problems right?

  4. Yah the earthquake thing is old news, and could happen within the next like 100 years or something. There are alot of Asian immigrants in Vancouver but no more than seattle. And i would say the weather is probably nicer in Vancouver becuase the air is clearer and you get that ocean breeze :P

  5. All of the west coast is in an earthquake belt. I would guess that Seattle would be warmer since it is farther South (assuming you mean BC, not Vancover, WA)

  6. Both are about the same in weather, can't remember any earthquakes at all, and Asians are more prevalent in Seattle, but Vancouver BC ROCKS more! People are VERY nice, lots to see and do to!

  7. Vancouver is expecting a big earthquake. Theres lots of tension building. But we've been expecting that for like 15 years, so nobody takes it too seriously. There are loooads of Asians here. Probably more than half the people here are immigrants. Vancouver has better weather.
