About a metatarsal fracture?

I think I may have a metatarsal fracture due to a cart full of baggage being ran across my left foot anyone ever deal with such an injury how was it diagnosed and what was the treatment did it require a cast etc..

it depends which metatarsal has been affected,

i sprained my ankle a few years back and they suspected i broke my fifth metatarsal,

the doctor told me and my dad that if that was the case it would need to be put in a cast or a walking boot,

but luckily it wasnt

one of my friends broke their 2nd metatarsal and it required no treatment

RICE it

and go have an xray better safe than sorry
