About a mosquito bite?

Yesterday i went to the park and i believe i was bit by a mosquito in my forearm. I didnt pay much attention but today when i woke up i have this HUGE bump there and its red and swelled up. It doesnt itch at all but if i press it it hurts a little. Im not really in pain but i never had this happen to me. The bump is burning if u feel it and its huge and red and really swelled up. Any suggestions as to what i can do at home to maybe avoid going to the doctor? Also i heard stories about insects layign eggs when they bite you and then they hatch and they pop out of where the person got bit so im scared that this may have happened. Any help is appreciated and if u plan on just saying go to a doctor please dont write anything.

  1. Try putting an ice cube on it for 5-10 minutes a few times a day.  That should take the swelling down

  2. tape a copper penny to the bite, and leave it on for overnight. the copper is supposed to neutralize the poison in the sting. hope you feel better soon.
