About an upcoming audition...?

The information says to sing 32 bars of a song at an audition. One problem: I don't know what that means! What is the "32 bars of a song"? Help!!!!

32 measures. If you don't know what measures are, look at a piece of music (preferably from the piece of music you will be singing for your audition). Measures are separated with vertical lines we call bar lines. If you have an accompanist, or know someone who plays piano/reads music, have them give you a visual and help you out with the music. its just seconds basically, 32 seconds of a song. hey they dont have all day to just here your full song, they need to listen to others to, thats why they only have you sing 32 seconds.

A bar is a messure. A messure is each section where the notes are.

32 bars means 32 measures.

Look at the music and count 32 measures and practice that.
