  1. idk

  2. No, I don't think it will be popular, cause I've never even heard of the name before!!!:):):)

  3. This is the name Angelina Jolie used, right?  Yes, it'll be popular.  I wouldn't use it if you don't want him to be one of so many in his class.

  4. I don't know,  I haven't heard it a whole lot.  other than Brad Pitt and Angelina's kid.  I would check out the baby boards and see how popular it is.  there is normally something with what everyone wants to name their kids.  or you can look at last years popular names and such, see where it stood then in popularity.

  5. I don't think that it's going to be so popular that when "Maddox" is said in a classroom, 8 little boys turn around. However, it won't be so UNpopular that he'll never meet anyone with his name. It's cute, and if you love it, GO FOR IT!

  6. I like the name Maddox.  What about the middle name?  Maddox Levi would go together well. Good Luck.  God Bless.

  7. I don't think so. I named my daughter Halle and worried about the same thing. So far we have yet to meet another Halle her age. So go ahead and go with what you like, it's cute!

  8. It's never going to be like Jacob or Matthew.... I think youre pretty safe

  9. I have been hearing the name more and more frequently. I personally have met more little girls with the name than little boys. It can become popular, but you never really know until he's here.

If you like the name, then by all means use it. He is your little man and no one can take that from you.

  10. i have just started hearing that name. i think it will become more popular, but not super popular. nice name.

  11. i don't think it is! Like the name though!

  16. I don't think a lot of other boys will have that name...if you like it...go for it!

  18. I don't think so. I like the name though very unique

  19. ya i love that name will...

  20. it may be a bit more popular because of angelinas adopted son ,maddox but i really prefer max or maxwell .

those are pretty popular too right now but better than jaxon or jackson.good luck!

  21. Never heard of it before.

  22. I would say if you he goes to a school with 40 people in his class there will be at least one more.  It is a pretty popular name and is becoming more popular.

  23. its becoming more common check the popularity of it at a baby name site to see how much its been used over the past 5 years (they usually go up for about 10 years then drop off)

  24. ok my names michael its a good name like theres not that many poeple called michael so pick michael

  25. I Don't think So...It's quite Unique.

  26. I don't think I've ever heard of that as a name lol....

I agree that having a unique name is cool, but you don't want it to be something too 'out there'.

I personally don't mind common names, but if I find a unique name that I think fits well with my last name, then I would pick that for my kid(s) if/when I have them.

  27. Maddox is rising in popularity. I dont think it will be super popular, but he wont be the only kid with that name in his lifetime

  28. i read the birth listings in our tristates largest paper when they print them every week and maddox is on there some.  i'd say b/c of angelina jolie naming one of her sons maddox, it has gotten a lot of publicity and stuff.  but if you like it, do it.

  29. i quite like that name too. i haven't heard of any other children called it where i come from.
