  1. typical indian eh becoming a doctor making mummy n daddy proud lol

i think it is 6 years, after all im indian and both my cousins are docs

  2. You need A's and A*'s at GCSE really.  I'm in my second year of medicine at the moment.  I got 4A*'s and 6A's at GCSE and 3A's at A-level.  The course is 5 years normally.  The exceptions are if you do a degree before then you could do a 4 year course of if you do a 1 year degree in the middle of your medicine degree it's 6 years.  The most important thing is to get a lot of work experience.  This doesn't have to be in a hospital or with a doctor but might include doing voluntary work at an old persons home for example or care home.

  3. You need science, maths and english at GCSE level. Universities only look at your GCSE's if your a-levels don't use the skills that is needed to study medicine. They all want chemistry at a-level. The typical grades needed are AAB.

The medicine degree is 5 years generally (6 with art a-levels, 4 if studying medicine after you've a degree)
