explain how the movement in plants differs from the movement in animals.

  1. Plant cannot move from place to place. However they can move by growing a particular direction e.g towards light or bend parts of the plant. Because they have roots that anchor them to the ground they cant move from place to place. Aquatics plants can drift in the water bot they cant cotnrol the movement. Animals have legs, fins, wings etc and can move voluntarily from place to place to place.

  3. Plants are nonmotile unless they are moved by animals and humans from one place to another. However, there is so called "phototrophism", whereas plants tend to bend or attracted to the direction of sunlight.

    Almost all animals are motile, some exeptions are clams, etc, where they are only motile in the early stage of life, but nonmotile until they find a good place to stay still.
