About bmx biking?is it hard?what size bike? how fast?

well i live like 2 miles from my high school

and my parents want me to drive a car but i wanna wait so im gonna buy a bmx bike.i know there like 350 and whatever butwhat i wanna know before i order is

what size bike should i get.it talks about top tube or sumthing.

im 5'10 1/2 and weighh 145

and also

are they fast?

and light?

depends if you want a bmx style bike that is smaller than a normal one or if you want a bike that fits 22 if it fits or a 20 if you wnat a bmx sorta look i ride a 20 i'm about 5.9 i can do double tailwhips cuz its small
