What's it like up there in the Montreal area? What kind of things do they have? Do they have the same kind of stuff and products as the U.S.? What don't they have that we don't have down here?

I'm looking for some answers if anyone could help me with them i'd really appreciate it thanks. :)

  1. Well I live in Montreal and theres plenty to do here especially if your a tourist.. we have festivals going on and if you want to go out,  crescent and st-laurent streets are the best places to go out at night!

Not everyone will be speaking french.. we are bilingual so we do speak english....

hmmm what exactly would you like to know??

  2. Biggest difference in Quebec is that French is the predominant language there. It's everywhere. If you go outside of Montreal, it's a lot harder to find people who will speak English. Montreal is okay though. Lots of clubbing and partying to be done. Lots of markets and stuff. I loved it there personally. They have a nice transportation system there, too. Other than the language and some of the food, it isn't a whole lot different than down here.

  3. canada is just america's hat : ]

  4. More or less.  Just brush up on your french.  Most speak english but a lot don't.

  5. Montreal is quite civilized and modern...you may find some difference in groceries like your favourite foods in brand names but most everything is same same same...You will be fine, if not for the French language you could hardly tell that you were not home.
