  1. Probably because of all of the chinese immigrants that influenced a lot of things in that country such as in America plenty of people did and still do eat lots of chinese food and it is a way to share more culture sometimes.

  2. That is not true. Many people have their onw communities.

I know of Little India (near Los Angeles), Little Saigon (Orange County, Ca) Little Italy (San Diego), Little Italy (NYC), Japan Town (San Francisco) Little Kabul (Afgran town east of San Francisco) Little Tokyo (Los Angeles), Korea Town (Los Angeles) Little El Salvador (San Diego), Little Mexico (Chicago), Spanish Harlem (NYC), Little Tehran (Los Angeles), LIttle Russia (Los Angeles).  Little Central America (Los Angeles) etc.

The fact is almost every major city in the U.S. has all kinds of ethnic comunities not just Chinese.

The reason Chinese might be more common is because Chinese were amoungst the first immigrants to come to the U.S. to work on the rail roads and thus had a hard start on establishing their own comunities.

Also, the American version of Chinese food was the first ehtnic (although by no means authentic!) food to become popular in the U.S. up until very recently Indian, Thai etc. foods were considered too "weird" for the tastes of most Americans. (I am glad they become popular becuase I find them delicious! lol)

Also, consider that some groups do not even need their own town because they are in and of themseleves part and parcel of American history itself. For example blacks in the South and Mexicans in the South West.

  3. indian does have a indian town, its near Cerritos
