vector A of magnitude 5 units has a horizontal component of 2 units. find the angle that vector A makes with the horizontal. determine also the vertical component of vector A

5^2 = 2^2 + V^2

25 = 4 + V^2

21 = V^2

squareroot(21) = Vertical component.

Angle:

inverse-sine(2/5) = 66.42 degrees
