About doing MS abroad

I am a second year BE(EEE) student. I am planning to do my MS mostly in the US. Someone told me that doing projects and/or presenting papers is essential for this. Is it true? And what kind of projects will they expect for this.. Plz help..

  1. Not true. Some school only require your grades.

    Here in USA, applicants must possess the equivalent of a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution (which is your current school).

    As a prospective student (in USA) is expected to present a superior overall previous academic record. Other factors, such as work experience and career progression, are also important and will be considered by the Admissions Committee.

    Different school has different criteria. So, you have to choose first which school you want to apply. After that, just contact the school and ask for their criteria and procedure. But usually after you contact them, one of the admission committee will help you with the admission procedure.
