if a person draw social security from deceased parent during high school and it stop and graduation. if they attend college or trade school a year later can they start back getting it

  1. They can only draw their deceased parents SS until they reach 18.


  2. It should stop when the child turns 18. There are times when it will last until graduation from high school. There is not anything you can do to get it back.

  3. No,it ends at age 18.But, if you are still in HS you can get it until the month of your graduation or age 19,whichever comes first. After that age you are an adult and no longer qualify for dependent benefits.

  4. nope.  social security benefits are only paid until 18...then you have to qualify on your own.
