planning to go to the jungle soon, and I was just curious, if you would take leaves from several plants there, would it do any bad ecologically? not counting that the leaves could have some parasite that would affect life where you take them to, I mean just the jungle

  1. If the jungle is outside the US and you return to the US, the agriculture inspectors in customs will determine if the leaves are safe to bring into the country. If not, they will destroy them. I saw someone from Asia trying to bring citrus leaves into the US. They were confiscated and the inspector shuddered at the idea that they might have gotten through.

  2. no go ahead

the jungle is a leaf producing factory and if you pick some this stimulates new growth

you can see if leaves have parasites because they would be marked

    jungles are exeptionally healthy

sickness ,weakness  ,is quickly followed by death

on the other hand you are the most vulnarable to return from the jungle carying some kind of parasite ,on your skin or hair

but remember things live in jungles because of the environment ,and so similar environments are needed to cary on some jungle life elswhere

  3. They really don't let you take that stuff on the plane... Because of the bilogical agents they carry.
