About employment pass in Singapore?

I was applying for dependant pass, and had received the in principle approval letter. But I haven’t collected my dependent pass since I failed the medical test and have to wait until I finish my treatment. My treatment will finish on Dec 15. Right now, I get a job and am going to apply for Employment pass. I will start working on Jan, so I can get my medical test report done at that time. My question is, do I need to cancel my dependent pass in principle approval letter or not? Thanks

On dependant pass you cannot apply for any job otherwise MOM will cancel your pass. Your medical treatment end on 15 Dec doesn't mean you are free from the deseases. Meantime you did not have to cancel the in principal pass approval. If you do that, you will get into more serious problem.

Even your dependant pass is approved, you still cannot work in Singapore.
