  1. This is what happened at my first appt:

-Medical history for me and husband

    -Trans vag ultrasound

    -Blood drawn

-Appt made for s***n analysis for husband

-Consultation with doctor and plan of treatment, pending confirmation from blood work

It was nice to finally have someone say "we know why you are not conceiving, and here is what we are going to do about it." It was a huge relief to know that it wasn't anything I was doing wrong.

    Good luck

  2. Generally you can expect to speak with the physician for about an hour. The physician will listen to you as you relay your fertility journey, will ask you questions about your medical history and discuss diagnostic testing. He (or she) will answer any questions you may have about causes and treatment of infertility. Together with your doctor you will discuss treatment options that suit you. After you speak with your physician, your nurse will help you implement the doctor's orders and will explain the testing he (or she) recommended

  3. good luck!  i'm not sure what they will ask, but make sure you jot down the questions prior to your appointment.  i know the appointments cost an arm and a leg, so make sure you get your money's worth.

    good luck!!!

  4. Your medical history - any D&Cs, miscarriages, prior pregnancies.

    They may take blood.

    Discuss options.

    Possibly an exam.

  5. My first appt. included blood work and an internal ultrasound.  The dr. asked a bunch of questions.  The tests were mostly to determine my hormone levels.  Good Luck
