About gears of war for 360?

Hey i want to know if this game is really good 3rd person shooter, is it like resident evil 4? is it boring? and i dont want any answer about online i just want to know just the single player is there lots of replay value?

after an hour it gets boring since all you do is shoot stuff nothing special. i have metal gear solid 4 for ps3 and it rocks, dude. i've played both gears of war and metal gear solid 4. i know they're very different, but gears of war is all flash and no substance. believe. me. it's just like assassin;s creed. very repetitive after 2 hours of playtime. hmm..i suggest you wait for gears of war 2 it;s coming out october or november this year.

and nope. there's no replay value whatsoever. try fable 2.

its noting like resident evil 4, its better, single player is the best, there's different difficulty modes, so if u beat the game once, play it again on another level, it will change, this is a must buy game, and if ur not sure still, watch some gameplay videos, or rent it before buying

The singleplayer is fairly short, the real draw is the online. However, get it anyways - Gears 2 is comign soon, and it promises MUCH more in terms of singleplayer story & replay value.
