Okay so i'm 15 I live in Las Vegas, and I REALLY want to get my nose pierced! My aunt went to go take me to Diversity but they said you need a legal parent with you? Does that consist of every parlor shop in Las Vegas, or just there?? The thing is, is that my parents already told my aunt it was fine for me to get it done. The problem is, is that they don't have the time to take me so that's why there having my aunt do it!

All I know is my boyfriend is coming back from the national guard and I haven't seen him in 3 months and I wanted to surprise him with it. He'll be hear in 3 days! Help?

  1. You have to be 18 everywhere in the U.S.A., except with parental consent.

    Best wishes

  2.    idk dont get your nose pirced    or take       your parents with you

  3. well, you can always do it yourself.

numb it first with ice, make sure everything is REALLY CLEAN.

hydrogen peroxide or rubbing alchohol will clean it.

you can buy stud things that the parlor uses to pierce.

they are usually pointy at the end.

needle work too, just make sure you have the stud ready.

  4. Almost any state that performs piercings on minors requires the presence of a parent.

I ran a very simple seach on Yahoo! (body piercing laws nevada) and this is the FIRST link I found:

    http://www.ncsl.org/programs/health/mino...

It is not hard to do your own research on this sort of thing.  Your parents need to give permission, they are your legal guardians.

  5. Get written permission from your parents and one of your parents drivers licences if that is possible. It should work... Also, your birth certificate

  6. It's illegal to pierce a minor without their parent or legal guardian present in all 50 states.  If you can find a place that'll pierce you without either of those, then that's a place that you don't want to be pierced at.  You have to wonder what other rules they're letting slide.  This is your body and well being we're talking about.  Do you really want to compromise them for a fashion accessory?

  7. Get a written OK from your parents authorizing your aunt to allow you to have it done then have it notarized for the cost of about $5 at any bank or a personal notary.

  8. I don't live in nevada but any good parlor shop should ask for your legal guardian if your not of age.
