No 1: Carbon shafts are made from carbon. Steel shafts are made from steel. What is best is dependant on you.

Well.....Since your height and weight have no bearing at all on whatever shaft you end up choosing.....and you have given no information about swing speed.  It is dang near impossible to offer you any advice.  The difference in Carbon and steel is dramatic....the Carbon will at least offer the potential of  longer distance over steel.
