  1. No insurance is going to pay for anything that happened before you were covered.

  2. Highly doubt it.  Since your job doesn't provide you the insurance, you should have some kind of help, such as a discount plan.  You can find these here -

  3. No way.  You can't get retroactive insurance.

  4. There is no insurance that will cover any part of previous debts incurred before you were insured through them. Most likely they will also have some sort of pre-existing condition rule that will apply if you do get insurance in which any or most of the services you may incur as a result of this accident, even after being insured, will not be covered under the new policy.

I would suggest you look into some sort of hospital advocacy program. There are ways to negotiate your hospital bills down and reduce the amount you owe. It can be time consuming and filled with lots of paperwork, but well worth it if you can reduce that $3000 down a bit. Definitely worth looking into.

Hope that can help you some! Good Luck...

  5. Are you asking if health insurance will cover bills you had before you bought the insurance? If so, no.

All types of insurance need to be purchased before you need them.

  6. If you were the company, would you take the deal?  I don't think it would make good business sense.  Do you?

    Auto insurance should cover you.
