  1. Took mine only three weeks after chemo stopped. I think it actually starts earlier than that, but it takes about 3 weeks for you to notice the growth.

  2. Actually mine started growing back *during* chemo, same thing happened with an acquaintance at work.

It really takes off after chemo ends.

Lashes and brows and body hair seems to take a while longer to start back, and that type of hair grows much more slowly.

You should be able to take the scarf/wig off around 2-3 months after chemo ends or sooner if you are less self-conscious. Mine was pretty short when I stopped covering up ... it was a month after chemo ended, about 10 weeks after I noticed it was growing back.

  3. depends on many things.  the type of Chemo etc

  4. for me, my lashes and eye brows (and the fricken hair on my legs) started growing back right away, the hair on my head however didn't really start to come back for about 2 months.  The good news is that it does come back! mine came back thicker and CURLY, it was as straight as it gets before lol!

  5. My mother suffered with cancer a few years ago. And from what I remember, her hair started to grow back quite soon after the end of her chemo treatment.  It was literally weeks, but I presume this could vary from person to person.

  6. It depends on the type of chemo drug. I finished chemo in  mid August and within two weeks all my body hair started growing back at the same time.

  7. yes I ve had chemo starting july 2007 till jan 2008 and it was when i started radiation that my eye brows grew back so quickly i started radiation in march this year and have about an inch and a half of horrible curley hair but at least it s growing back .
