Assume average wind/water speed. And by 30 mile, I'm including all the bends.

Thanks in advance-even rough estimates are welcome. If you are a kayaking enthusiast say so.

  1. 4 hours......

  2. Unless you are racing, that is a typical full day's leisurely trip, with a minimum of about 8 hours unless the current is pretty fast. This assumes that you want to enjoy yourself while doing so and take a few breaks along the way. I have a few kayaks and have been a kayak user for about 40 years.

  3. Whats the speed of the river> You won't be going much faster> 4 miles per hour>

  4. DEepends if you are fighting the current or going with it.

  5. two days, one long day it you paddle steadily and dont stop much.

I canoe, dont know much about kayaks.

sounds like a great trip, have fun.

  6. I don't know what the flow of the river is, but figuring you are going to paddle three to four miles an hour my estimate will be eight hours.

Of course if the current is with you, shorter. If it is against you, longer.

    Have fun
