About how many miles per gallon does an average motorcycle get?

2 gal? My Suzuki GSX-R 600 averages 48mpg on the highway at normal speeds and has a 4.7gal tank. Its also a carb model so the newer EFI models should be just a little better.

i've known bikes with a V-twin engine to get  about 60mpg

Around 120mpg for a 100cc commuter, around 55mpg for a good mid range machine, and about 40mpg for a supersports.

Most have around 2 gallon tanks.

waht size is the average motorcycle?? anyway mpg range from 120 to about 30.
