  1. It depends on the size and resolution of the pictures you are taking. On my 6 MP Nikon D40, Normal Quality, Large Sized JPEGs I can get 650 shots on a 1 GB card. With a 4 GB card, you could get in the area of 2500 shots. (My estimates on card capacity on a previous post on another question was understated.)

  2. depends what kinda camera some take bigger photo's usually in better quality but 4gb will hold ALOT regardless of what camera you have probably around in the thousands

    4gb is 4,096mb, which is 4194304kb and a picture is usually around 500kb-1,000kb

    1gb=1,024mb

    1mb=1,024kb

  3. that depends on the type of photo you have dude

    basically JPEG doesn't take a lot of space except if it has a very high resolution,

    BITMAP and GIF images would eat up the space

    with 4 g,

    uhmmm

    i think 2000 pictures would be fair

  4. well i think 1 gig is a little over 100 so like 450??

  5. that's impossible to answer.  it depends entirely on the resolution of the digital camera.

    the short answer though is 'probably a lot'.  most cameras now come with a 1 - 2 gb memory stick.  4 gb is pretty big.

    unless you forked out big bucks for a 10mp camera, it's freakin HUGE.
