About how much does Irish Step Dancing cost? (experienced irish step dancers welcomed)

I am interestedd in becoming a irish step dancer and I was wondering how much irish step lessons cost(per a week per a month it doesn't matter) thank you

1.) how much did you pay totle for a whole year (1st year) of irish step dancing (sock glue, socks, dress, lessons ect.)

2.) when do you get your first dress (not solo jusst dress and how much did it cost?)

3.) how much did you pay for a solso dress and was it a exgange or a new one

4.) which one is better: exanged solo dress or brand new one?

Well, in Australia it costs around $200 for 10 weeks of classes, but that its two classes a week - 1.5 hrs and 2 hrs.

1. I probably paid around $1000 but that is stuff I still use. I only did one class in my first year.

2. I got my first dress (a teams one) about 9 months after I started dancing.

3. Solo dresses cost around $1500 if you have it made, then $250 less every time it is sold. It was $750.

4. Depends on how serious you are - If very serious probably a brand new one.
