figure about fifteen hundred bucks an hour direct opreating cost for a Gulstream IV. at 480kts you can do the math from there ok? doesn't pay the crew, hangar, insurance, debt service, maintenance or many other fixed costs though.

It's actually just "NM", and to answer your question, that depends on a lot of factors.   About $12000 is my guess with the fuel these days.
