My boyfriend just did 2 months for possession of crack less than 6 months ago and now he is in jail for aggrevated robbery. what kind of time could he be facing? Could his drug problem be taken into consideration for the sentencing? He actually has a record in another state, but they didn't use that in determining his last sentence if they did that was technically his third felony and he shouldnt have gotten out. I just want to know what we are facing since we have two children, a 19 month old and a 7 month old. God help us please! He just started doing crack a year ago and now look where we are so quick.

  1. most states 3-5 years. His drug problem WILL be considered. and maybe this time the felony catches up; in which case a lot more

  2. I'm sorry you are having to go through this. I don't know how much time bf is facing; I think it probably depends on how good his lawyer is.

In any case, please realize that unless HE wants to get off drugs, nothing you or anyone else does is going to help your boyfriend. I know from experience how much it hurts to see someone you love doing this kind of thing to himself (and to you). If you are not attending a support group, I highly recommend it.  Good luck and God bless.

  3. At least 15 years I hope.
