  1. Well, this depends on the type of Polaroid camera and film you are looking for.

If you're looking for the Polaroid Sun 600 or another integral film cameras, the film will be harder to find save via eBay, and even still the film will may be expired as no company has stepped forward to get the rights to reproduce that type of film.

Now, if you're looking for the peel apart films, like Polaroid type 669, those may be slightly easier.  I know I just bought a Polaroid LandCamera 215 with a case, a flash, and some unused flash bulbs for $5 at a thrift store by my place.

I get the film at www.freestylephoto.biz - they have batteries for the LandCamera series (these cameras were from the 1960s-70s, so they have a unique battery) as well as both a supply of Polaroid type 669/667 film and the company who's taken over their pack film - Fuji.

I've personally used Fuji FP-100C and FP-100B.  Both are rather nice to use, and they can be used for Emulsion Lifts and Image Transfers.

    For prices of the film:

    2 packs of 10 exposures Type 669 (Color)  ~$23

    1 pack of 10 exposures FP-100C (color) - ~11

    1 pack of 10 exposures FP-100B (Black and White) - ~$8

If you have any other questions, I'll be happy to help.

  2. Check on eBay.

Polaroid isn't making instant film anymore.
