Go speak to your tattooist - only he will be able to give you a price, because only he will know how long it takes and how much he charges. You can't seriously expect strangers on the internet to come up with an accurate price, surely? You don't even give us a clue as to what country you live in! You'll get quotes from $100 to £600 on here and how much wiser will you be?

Beautiful artwork! Make sure that you are on the same page as your artist.

You do not want a heavy hand or someone who cannot do shading and portraits, eyes, with delicacy. Be sure to look at the portfolio, and look for these things: softness, ability to do hair and fur, sparkle in realistic eyes, and make sure that they do not have an ego that will want to put their stamp on it... like making it a Goth lion, or scowling mean eyes, etc.

Also, it looks like the original is just a tad bigger than you are thinking. Make sure that you do the size that is best in the long run for the tattoo. You want lines that will age well and not blur.

I think it may all depend on where you go and if the tatoo artist charges by the color or hour or just the design and where it is on your body.  Check out different tattoo artists in your area and ask them what they will charge.  

That's a nice design, I want one like that myself except a tiger instead of a lion!
